By using internet technology such as email, telephone, or Zoom, you can direct your own counselling. You can choose the time, the place, and the pace of your counselling to suit your needs.

Zoom Therapy

Using zoom is an excellent way for you to engage in therapy with your counsellor face to face. both your counsellor and you can hear and respond to changes in voice tones, facial expressions and be aware of non-verbal communications. However, it is quite likely that some clients may not have experienced zoom before and this will be a new experience. If this is the case, clients will be walked through the process and given detailed access notes.

Telephone Therapy

If you prefer to interact via telephone this can easily be arranged. Telephone offers you the opportunity to remain anonymous. An advantage of telephone counselling is that non-verbal communication can be carried in your tone of voice or the pace of speech which can be picked up by your experienced counsellor. However, for confidentiality reasons, you will need a private room where you will not be overheard.

Email Therapy

If you prefer to interact via email this can easily be arranged. Counselling via email offers you the opportunity to consider what you wish to say before you send it as well as having time between exchanges to reflect on the information you have sent/received. Additionally you receive a transcript of what has been said to refer back to.

As a counselling psychologist, and a mental health professional, I help women who are experiencing emotional and mental health issues by offering a personalised counselling service dedicated to women and their specific needs. I work within a wide variety of techniques and therapeutic approaches and other supportive methods to assist women in making difficult decisions, when coping with mental health disorders, developmental issues, relationship difficulties, domestic violence, and grief and loss.

Thus helping clients improve their personal and interpersonal functioning and achieve overall wellness. As a counselling psychologist I am different from a general psychologist in that I focus on the human aspects of psychology and less on scientific analysis. The combination of a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in psychology and a graduate diploma in counselling provides the educational and practical foundation, advanced training, and professional qualifications necessary for a competent and ethical counselling psychologist. It ensures that I am well-prepared to meet the complex
